Dear Medical Staff,

On behalf of the Magnet Steering Committee we would like to thank the medical staff for your endowment of $10,000.00 in 2010.  Through your generosity over twenty-five registered nurses were able pursue national certification in their area of expertise.

Certified nurses are recognized as experts in their field.  Becoming certified reflects a deep personal commitment and sense of accountability, inspiring credibility and confidence in an individual's professional knowledge and profession.

We thank you for sharing our pursuit of excellence and joining us in our journey toward Magnet redesignation in 2012.  Our desire is to provide our patients with certified nurses in every aspect of their care.  With the assistance of the medical staff we will be able to reach our goal of 75 percent of nurses certified in their area of expertise.
