TMCA Ranked Top for Emergency Care

This summer TMCA/CMP was named as a recipient of HealthGrades Emergency Medicine Excellence Award. 

HealthGrades evaluated Medicare records on more than 5 million patients at 4,907 U.S. hospitals from 2006 to 2008. The 5 percent of hospitals with the best adjusted mortality rates were named recipients of the Emergency Medicine Excellence Award. Only the top 5 percent of hospitals, five in Colorado and 255 nationwide, received this recognition. For more on this recognition, please see the Denver Business Journal article. 

I wish to extend special recognition and appreciation to our Emergency Department employees and CarePoint Emergency Physicians for their dedication to high quality care. We know that nationally recognized patient care is a team effort. Congratulations to all departments, employees and physicians that have contributed to this achievement of excellence in caring for our emergent and trauma patients.

We also congratulate our HealthONE sister facility, Rose Medical Center, as one of the five Colorado hospitals that received this honor.
