On behalf of the Nurse Practice Advisory Board and the Magnet Steering Committee, we would like to thank you for your endowment of $10,000.00 in 2009.  Through your generosity over thirty registered nurses were able pursue national certification in their area of expertise.

Certified nurses are recognized as experts in their field.  Becoming certified reflects a deep personal commitment and sense of accountability, inspiring credibility and confidence in an individual's professional knowledge and profession.

We thank you for sharing our pursuit of excellence and joining our journey toward Magnet redesignation in 2012.  Our desire is to provide our patients with certified nurses in every aspect of their care.  With the assistance of the medical staff we will be able to reach our goal of 75% of nurses certified in their area of expertise.
