Electroneurodiagnostics

At The Medical Center of Aurora, we offer a variety of tools used to measure electrical activity of the brain and nervous system. These tools are called electroneurodiagnostics, and can help diagnose seizure disorders and epilepsy, as well as nerve disorders and movement disorders. We have specially trained EEG technicians, which allows for the most accurate diagnostic abilities. We also offer long-term EEG video monitoring.

• Long-term EEG video monitoring - Long-term EEG video monitoring is an electroencephalogram (EEG) that spans 24 to 72 hours, and is accompanied by video and audio recordings. It's used for definitive diagnosis of subclinical seizures and is used to monitor patients whose level of consciousness is altered to bring them out of continuous seizures.
