Speech Therapy

Speech therapy helps patients who have an injury or condition that limits their ability to communicate or swallow. At the Medical Center of Aurora, we offer a variety of speech therapy care aimed at helping patients to function at their highest level. Our Speech Therapy department works closely with other departments to improve total health for our patients.

We provide:

• Patient and family education
• Discharge planning for home or an alternate setting
• A weekly stroke support group

At The Medical Center of Aurora, our Speech Language Pathologists provide evaluation, treatment and counseling to patients with difficulties in the areas of:
